Project 365 and Diary Update 2014 Week 11

Wowzers these weeks are flying by aren’t they? I don’t like it, it just means I’m getting older faster, and my children are growing up too quick lol.

On the flip side though, Summer is on it’s way and that makes me happy!

This week started off in great fashion… the warmest day of the year so far last Sunday and I was at rugby once again with Teen, but this week it was a much more pleasant experience due to the sunshine! I took my Girl and one of the twins with me too. Daddy was at home clearing up the garden.

On the rugby pitch! My daughter took this pic, O was doing a little dance move here!

Day 68 – Me on the rugby pitch after scoffing burger and chips in the clubhouse! The smells from the kitchen there are divine, if you like that type of thing… !! My daughter took this pic when we were walking back to the car, O was doing a little dance move (or something like that!)

Day 69 - Monday night homework that shoud've been done over the weekend! Tut Tut! ;) I don't actually agree with homework at the weekend for primary school... who wants that pressure..It's family time right?

Day 69 – Monday night homework that should’ve been done over the weekend! Tut Tut! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I don’t actually agree with homework at the weekend at primary school age… who wants that pressure..It’s family time right? Annoying.

As I mentioned last week, my twins TA said she’d bring in her spare DSLR for me to try out, to give me an idea of how one works and feels.

Day 70 - I had this little beauty to try out for the week which has been lots of fun, and clearly I have to have one of my own now!!

Day 70 – And here it is. I had this little beauty for the week which has been lots of fun, none of the photo’s here are from this by the way, it was just to see if I could get along with the controls etc. Clearly I have to have one of my own now!!

Day 71 - Pegged the washing out! Love doing this, I'm such a granny! These socks made me laugh, Teens rugby socks and a pair belonging to my twins.

Day 71 – Pegged the washing out! Love doing this, I’m such a granny! These socks made me laugh next to each other, Teens rugby socks and a pair belonging to my twins.. big and small! Can also see our rabbit running off there to the left corner… obviously didn’t want his photograph taken!

Day 72 – Thursday evening shopping after school to buy my Girl some new earrings that I’d been promising, we stopped off to have an ice cream treat. I had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows – yumsville!

Fridays as usual is my afternoon with my twins. I still pick them up at lunchtime due to them being very young in the year group, not sure if I’m going to be allowed to do this next term so I need to make the most of it. I love to take my boys out somewhere. This week it was swimming. I’d like to take them for lessons but they aren’t ready, in fact, they don’t want to join in any activities or clubs yet, they’re still far too shy and nervous. They do enjoy swimming here with me though which is a start!

This leisure centre has a kiddie splash zone which is perfect for my boys as they don't like being out of their depth, even holding on to me. But once we've had a play in here they allow me to take them in the bigger kids pool for more of a proper swim :)

Day 73 – This leisure centre has a kiddie splash zone which is perfect for my boys as they don’t like being out of their depth, they can walk in at their own pace. Once we’ve had a play in here they usually allow me to take them in the bigger kids pool for more of a proper swim ๐Ÿ™‚

We had parents evening for the twins too this week and to hear their teacher say how well they’re doing was wonderful. I want to write more about this next week though but said they will even stand in front of their class now and speak! Unbelievable! Bless them. It was like music to my ears! They’ve come a long way since September when they wouldn’t say boo to a goose. O even held an audience and made them laugh apparently!!

So proud of them both.

Day 74 - Going to a triplets birthday party so three little presents to buy! Love this wrapping paper.

So that’s it. Hope you had a great week x
