Babies born on the same day as Prince George given the royal treatment
Willows Farm Village in Hertfordshire is marking the birth of the third in line to the throne by offering babies who were born on the same day as Prince George a free lifetime membership.
Babies who were born in Hertfordshire on the 22nd July 2013 will be granted a complimentary lifetime membership which will allow them access to award-winning family fun set in over 450 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
Farmer at Willows Anna Wolfe said: “Much like the rest of the country, the team at Willows wanted to celebrate the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first baby.
“We’ve decide to offer Hertfordshire babies born on the same day as the new Prince the chance to get a little bit of the ‘royal treatment’ themselves with a free membership at Willows.”
“Obviously we’d be over the moon if William and Catherine brought Prince George along to Willows but like all new parents, they’re pretty busy at the moment! Maybe one day they’ll pop down and we can introduce Prince George to Prince Woolliam – the ram we named in his father’s honour.”
Parents wishing to set up memberships for their new princes and princesses should complete a membership form (download from www.willowsfarmvillage.com) and post it back to Willows Farm Village, Coursers Road, London Colney, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL4 0PF along with a photocopy of the birth certificate by the 31st August 2013*.
And don’t forget the Summer Spectacular event that’s being held at Willows during the summer holidays.
Taking place daily until the 1st September, Summer Spectacular promises to be exactly that – spectacular! – thanks to a series of new attractions and activities.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the newly-opened animal barn The Farmyard and meet its latest residents – Jade and Bob the Shire horses. Jade and Bob will spend their days meeting visitors who will be able to listen to the staff give informative talks about these gentle giants.
The aptly-named A-maize-ing Maze, which is grown entirely from maize seeds, returns to Willows for 2013. Visitors will be challenged to complete the four acre maze and find the eight animal cut outs hidden in its twists and turns in return for a special sticker for taking part.
In addition to the A-maize-ing Maze and The Farmyard, there will also be summer sports day races, new children’s shows including Curly Tail’s Tap & Trot Show and the usual jam-packed programme of spectacular family summer fun including; panning for gold, fairground rides, indoor & outdoor adventure play, farmyard animals and much, much more.
Summer Spectacular is at Willows from 20th July – 1st September 2013, for more information visit www.willowsfarmvillage.com or call 0870 129 9718
