Last Saturday was the first day of 2014 that you could really feel Spring had indeed sprung!
My Girl had been at gymnastics for most of the day, but when she’d finished we decided to head off to the park as the twins had been in all day and needed to get out and run off some energy.
I’d lugged my camera over there but when I switched it on, the battery had run out – which wound me up severely, typical, so I only had my phone. But I did take lots of pictures so lets get on with them!!

O and H on the ‘gym’ equipment in the park! There’s lots of this stuff in parks now isn’t there? I wonder if people actually take it seriously and work out on it or if it’s just kids that mess around on the strange looking contraptions! Nevertheless, I think it’s a good idea and encourages keeping fit. My twins are barely big enough but have a go anyway!
The sun creeping into the shots here is lovely, it was a bit late in the day and the sun was going down. I thought it was bloody freezing a bit chilly to be fair but no one else did (I had a hat on)…I’m always cold though lol.
Loving this Spring weather. Long may it continue 🙂
Again, linking up with Coombe Mill #countrykids – I know this linky is there to encourage outdoor fun, but it really does work and makes me think about what we can do to get outside as a family, which is brilliant!
That looks like a fantastic park. I love Spring. I only ever take photos on my phone these days.
It’s just our little local park! And yes I guess cameras on phones are just as good, although I’m still hankering after a DSLR!!! 🙂
I’m so pleased that all these lovely bloggers and their posts are an inspiration to others for some outdoor fun! You’ve captured some lovely moments of family fun on your phone and I really think that unlike us the children don’t feel the cold as much (maybe we should be playing on the equipment too). Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Ha I know, I kept saying lets go now because I was so cold and the kids were all without coats, sweating!! x
