Project 365 Weeks 9 & 10 – 2015

So a two weeker this week, first double whammy of 2015! I think I did quite well… managed to get the first eight weeks done singularly but missed last week out completely, we had another sick bug in the house so I think I can be forgiven.

Not too much to report happening over these past few weeks! All back to school and back to the normal routine…..

Week 9

project 365

Day 53 – Sunday 22nd February – Last day of the half term… Boo! This was taken at bed time with my three snuggling up before getting into their own beds 🙂

Day 54 – Some tablet playing in the morning before breakfast…. they’re obsessed. I can see myself banning them completely, or restricting to weekend use only. (that’s a cuddly toy hippo in the background by the way!)

Day 55 – Me trying on a few garments in Next!

Day 56 – Very proud of my boys who have now moved up a level in reading. They have struggled, but I put it down to being the youngest in their class so as you can imagine, I am over the moon that reading is now starting to take off. Bless their hearts!

Day 57 – In London today and nipped into M & S at the station to buy some of their Dolly Mixtures for the journey home. Love ’em!

Day 58 – We had a takeaway tonight and this was the bag it arrived it! H got in it… he looked so small, I can’t believe he actually fit! (excuse  the background mess!)

Day 59 – We had a family party this weekend, well it was more like a gathering among all of the OH’s side. They’re a big family and don’t get to see each other as often as they’d like. We had a few funerals last year which meant we all got together on sad occasions, so they organised this… a happy party for no apparent reason, which was fabulous. We hired out a function room in a hotel, we all stayed over and had a right old knees up! The kids ran around till late and we all made use of the facilities in the morning. Such a good idea and a great time was had by all 🙂

Week 10

project 365

Day 60 – Sunday 1st March – In our hotel after our family party! Everyone went for a swim, this is my OH with the twins 🙂

Day 61 – Picking up my boys from school after work, was treated to some picked daisy’s.

Day 62 – A visit to my sister in laws and a cuddle with their newest cousin!

Day 63 – Took my daughter to see Wicked at the theatre in the West End! Fabulous show.

Day 64 – World Book Day. My twins as tigers.. we have a few books with tigers in so they really had lots of choice over which book to take in with them!

Day 65 – Friday after school in the park, glorious Spring weather.

Day 66 – We went to a special event at the Roald Dahl museum where we met WWE American wrestling superstar Jack Swagger. He’s a massive Roald Dahl fan and was doing a special reading! It was a fun afternoon, the kids really enjoyed it!

Hope you’ve all had a great week 🙂

TheBoyandMe's 365 Linky

  1. Glad you are all feeling better, quite a few of us have missed a week due to a bug or two – me included for the first time ever and I am on year 4. Bob has Tiger suits like those, I bought them for Fifi and they have been great, but they are starting to fall apart.
What a fab idea the family party is, and the hiring of a hotel saves any one of you the mess and stress, and the facilities make for a pleasant time as well.
Dont like dolly mixtures, I would have picked randoms or the pack with fruit gums, pastilles and tooty fruity’s in.

  2. Glad you are all well again, arr we have had a good winter this year, just me ill !! love the selfie of you all 🙂

Sorry to hear you were ill. Sounds like a good few weeks. I really want to go and see Wicked just never seem to get there x

Please leave a comment... I try to reply to each and every one :)
