Project 365 and Diary Update – Week 6

Think I’ve got the weeks numbered wrong on these posts as last week I put week 4, but everyone else seems to be on week 6 this week, so I’ll go with the majority! Week 6 everyone!

OK. Well this week has mainly been about our amazing #TeamHonkRelay day which was the most fun, had such a fantastic time but I won’t go into too much detail now as I’m writing up my post for that which will be live tomorrow!

It’s also been about the weather. I’ve sat back and watched over the past month how parts of the country have been engulfed with floods and feeling pretty lucky to live somewhere where we thankfully don’t need to worry about such catastrophes.

Until this week that is!

Oh yes! Our local town in Hertfordshire has succumbed and a couple of areas are now underwater. Our house is fine as we’re quite high and the flooding has been small and localised. The main areas have been roads without homes, fortunately, but it is extraordinary to see around these parts, fields look like lakes and one road which dips under a bridge is car height deep!!!!! I’ve never known anything like it.

Anyway, hope this stormy weather improves. I haven’t, might I add, took advantage and captured any photos of said floods / storm damage – so annoyed with myself for that! May try to get one tomorrow! Ooh apart from this first one…..

Project 365

Day 33 – 2nd Feb – The kids out in the garden playing on the trampoline. Think this is the first proper play in the garden of 2014! (the red roof has blown off their playhouse in the background from one storm lol – not fixed on properly and hadn’t put back on when I took this photo!) H is coughing by the way, he isn’t going to be sick!! :)

We went to see 'Frozen' at the cinema after school, all three of them (unsure where O is in this pic) scrounging Pick and Mix

Day 34 – We went to see ‘Frozen’ at the cinema after school, it was amazing by the way, such a good film. All three of my kiddies scrounging Pick and Mix!

Day 35 – This was my fellow #teamhonkrelay guys, taken at Radio Dacorum where we had a moment of fame!! More about this lot tomorrow :) Fab day! (Photo instagrammed!)

We went to a friends house after school, I took my three (teen too old) and my friend has five kids so 8 children between the two of us and all of similar ages (she has triplets!). Our children get on so well I wanted to get a better pic with more of the kids in but they weren't cooperating at ALL!!!

I helped with library with my twins class on Thursday. I loved it, I loved seeing my boys at school and all their classmates

Day 37 – I helped with library at school, my twins class, on Thursday. I loved it, I love seeing my boys at school with all their classmates, they came over in groups so it’s a good chance to get to know them a little better!

This is Teen's mock exam paper for Chemistry, just one module but he got an A*. He also achieved an A* in Biology too - obviously gets his brains from me (not) hehe! I was ever so pleased with this because he's not had a terribly good few weeks and has been in the bad books but he thoroughly redeemed himself with these marks!

Day 38 – This is Teen’s mock exam paper for Chemistry, just one module but fix your eyes on that mark on the right hand side….he got an A*. He also achieved an A* in Biology too – obviously gets his brains from me (not) hehe! I was ever so pleased with this because he’s not had a good few weeks and has been in the bad books, but he thoroughly redeemed himself with these marks!

Day 39 – We were in all day yesterday. O and H were watching a DVD and were all cuddled up together so wanted to capture that. Sadly as soon as the camera appeared they moved and I spent ages trying to get one of them without one looking away or pulling a face!

So that was our week. Hope you had a great week.
